Well, I'm headed to Denver, CO in May. I'm sooo excited. This is the assignment I've wanted for a long time. I tried to go to Denver after my assignment in Boston, but didn't get a position there. Now, looking back, God's timing has been perfect...as always. I want to be closer to home so I can go see my family more often. 8 hours is nothing considering I've been at least 24 hours from home for the last 2 years. I'm excited to be able to go home and see my family. I'm hoping my family can come visit me as well.
I haven't lived near my best friend, Kara, since college and I can't wait to make up for lost time! I have also heard great things about working at Denver Children's Hospital. I'm hoping this assignment will give me a chance to make some decisions about what I want to do after I stop traveling. I'll keep everyone posted on my last month in San Diego. I have some more pictures I'll try to post soon. By the way, this picture was taken in Colorado when I drove to San Diego the first time almost 2 years ago!
